Default tasty fudge bars

I have discovered these great fudge bars ice cream by Chapmans but I can't figure carbs, this is whar label says
cals=91
protein=1.9g
fat=2.4g
carbs=19g
sugars=5.5g
maltitol=13.2g
sucralose=16mg

So is it 5 g??
Also Russell Stovers Pecan Delights
cals=170
ptotein=2g
fat=12g
carbs=17g
sugars=0.1g
maltiol=8.7g
maltiol syrup=6.2g
poltdextrose=2.5g
acesulfame-potassium=16mg
How many cars in this.

Can someone figure this out for m?You guys are so great.I can't wait to read the posts everyday.I am sure that i could not continue for so long if i did not have this support.

the ice cream bar would be 5.8 carbs (rounded to 6)

and the pecan delites are 2.1 carbs, I did not subtract the polydextrose,

That works great IF you are one of those who ISN'T sensitive to polyols or sugar alcohols. Not every lowcarb plan deducts fully these items and many people ARE sensitive to them.

That being said, a SAFER method of determing effective carb count (effective until you know how you react to them AND you are on maintenance and have lost all your weight) is to use the Hidden Carb inspector to calculate the total carbs, see over on the Quick Links section on the right or the orange toolbar above, under Tools. Just plug in the Calories, Protein and Fat Grams, and Total Carbohydrate Grams (nothing else) then hit Go.
