Default Can you have peanut butter during Induction?

I sometimes drink a protein shake for breakfast, and GOD, it tastes awful Even after adding a Splenda, I can barely choke it down, but I need to use the rest of the can of powder, SO my question is...can I add 1-2 tblsp. of peanut butter to it to help the flavor out a bit or is that a

Kristy,
I ate small amounts of peanut butter and nuts on Induction with no problems. In fact, the fiber from nuts is quite helpful. Everyone is different, but it seemed to work for me.

I eat peanut butter...and the regular kind at that. I only eat small amounts though. I've had no problems with it.

A tablespoon is about 6gms (at least that's what my bottle says) so 2 tblspns is dretching it.

I , however, like to lick on a teaspoon ir two during induction. Taken by itself its quite cloying so its hard to eat gobs of it all at once.

Maybe you can down the yucky shake then use the pnut butter to salve your tired tastebuds.

You know Kristy, you might try adding a sugar-free syrup (like DaVinci's) to flavor the shake. I believe they even have a Peanut Butter flavor.

Make sure you get a brand sweetened with Splenda. It's liquid Splenda so you don't even have to count the carbs. I wouldn't recommend going overboard with this on Induction, but a splash in your shake shouldn't hurt.
