Default gaining on induction

Sorry I should have wrote i started induction phase of atkins after reading atkins new diet revolution and i have read and reread the book to make sure i am doing this right. I didn't expect to see weight loss immediately,I even could understand weight gain 0f 1-3 lbs untill ketosis/lipolysisstarts. But now up to5.5lbs and just would like to know if this is normal. Any advice would be appreciated ( Also strips are still negative for ketones.)

Dont rely on the strips they can be inacurate, you could be in ketosis, eg weight loss smeely breath and strong urine. Ive had a weight gain of 2lb but have since lost a 1lb and a half of it. There could be so many factures why you have gained from water to muscle increase!! Try a tape measure to see if you are going down.
