Default The Insulin Resistance Diet

Anyone following this eating plan?

I am following a modified version (I eat more fat than recommended) of the Insulin Resistance Diet and I love it.

Any other IRDers out there?

Hi there,
I'm menopausal woman and I believe that that has made me insulin resistant. I am presntly on Atkins. Which has helped some especially my up and down moods. Can you tell me the difference between the two diets?
Thanxs,
Pam

Just reviewed the IR diet...Wow, I lived like that for 33 years and steadily gained weight even through working out heavily. til I maxed out at 230.

Course, maybe I AM extremely sensitive to carbs. But what I wouldnt do for a piece of )(*^%-ing toast with my morning eggs!

I'll stick to atkins. Thanks, and good luck!

JC
