Hi Bron,

I can't help you with Bonox, but I looked up Vegemite ages ago, and it is now one of my Fitday custom foods.

Per 1 teaspoon (5g) Vegemite:

Calories - 9
Carbs - 0.9g
Fat - 0
Protein - 1.8g

I suspect Bonox would also be pretty low carb. You could try searching the web, maybe the info is there somewhere.

Thanks all.
If something is less than 1g and the label just says > (or is it < I always get confused) how would you count it and do you count every 0.1 of a gram ???

G'day Bron,

Firstly, < means less than, and > means greater than.

Technically, you need to count every 0.1 g, but I just use common sense. For example, if you are only having 1 teaspoon of Bonox, it's pretty safe to ignore ½ gram. But if you are going to be having, say, 5 teaspoons of Vegemite, that will be 4.5 carbs, and therefore worth counting. Don't stress too much about it. Just concentrate on getting in your meat 'n vegies and you'll be fine.

Cheers.

Roz
