Default Do you want a good laugh?

I noticed a banner ad on Fitday for http://new.dietdivas.com/. Out of curiosity I clicked on the ad, and from their website clicked on their "sample menu" link.

You oughta see what they suggest for a mid afternoon snack. The breakfast they suggested would only hold me over till 9 AM, tops (I used to eat like that, so I know). I would be STARVING if I tried to follow that menu!

Check it out for a good laugh. And then eat your filling lo-carb foods, and lose weight without starving to death.

Joan

Candy bar for snack? Ahhh, yes. That would be the Snickers diet. LOL.

Ha ha ha - and looks like they make you buy all their own products too!

What a crock- and there's no way you'd 'lose 15 pounds in 10 days' or whatever

Cathy - thanks for the good laugh!

What the....????
YUK! That is exactly the kind of cr*p that got me so heavy in the first place. I also noticed on the menu I was looking at, no portion sizes. I'll bet it is all "nibbles" and "bites". There is no way eating a candy bar is going to get me to my goal!

About the only way I could see that working is if the calories were next to nothing.

An apple fritter for breakfast
Candybar for snack
rice
Sangria (wine with fruit)

There is almost no protien there, extreamly high sugars, and little fat.

I wonder if on day 2 you can have twinkies and cola for lunch

Hi

I couldn't find the sample menu - but I looked at some of the product nutrition counts and they seem to be pretty low in carbs and cals. maybe those are the candy bars they are talking about. I'll go back and see if I can find the sample menu link - I clicked the free trial membership and it was 49.00 !!!!!! Not that I'm interested in the plan at all - just curious as usual

Note, they keep saying "high protien" NOT low carb. It seems all their products for sale have aspertame in them but even aside from that, everything still seems packed with carbs. You can add protein to anything you want (soy, anyone?), but if the carbs remain high, it's not going to be too effective.
