Wink 11 lbs the first week!!!!!

This may sound like a crazy question, but here goes,
Is it normal to lose such a large amount in the first week, I have been
eating three meals a day but no salads or vegetables with them because
I don't like any, have been eating nuts instead. Extremely happy for the
loss but don't want to be doing anything wrong.

Hi Cindy

Many congratulations on those 11 pounds gone. I'm sure you are really happy, but can understand the question. You probably had a lot of carbs in your body and these have now gone. Next week you may lose a pound or two, but don't expect a great loss. It is also possible you might gain a pound or two as your body adjusts its water balance. Just keep doing what you are doing - do try to add some veggies they are such a good source of minerals and vitamins -and more pounds will follow in the coming weeks.

Yes, you can lose that much in one week especially if you retain water...I have dumped as much as 7 lbs of water weight in a week. So congratulations!

You need to eat veggies. They have vitamins and minerals that meat does not contain.
