Default Whats the difference between re-feeding and cheating?

Hi anyone who'll listen

made it to my first target recently but had to really struggle with the last 2lb, now I go up and down on alternate days with the same (usually 2lb) been like this for a while and would still like to lose a few more pounds so took an active decision this weekend to come off diet so that my body could experience different foods again then I would be able to give them up again, did gain 4lb thoroughly enjoyed my weekend (saw R.E.M. in concert!!!) and felt "NORMAL" like everyone else, but now fed up about the weight gain even though I KNEW I would gain.

So was this re-feeding that I've heard about or just plain old cheating?? I plan to go back to induction today and try to kick start metabolism into action! Any advice anyone? My problem is not losing weight I've done that before (WW, Slimming world etc) its keeping the weight OFF!!
Appreciate ANY AND ALL comments ............... Sad SarahP
