Default Induction & Alcohol

I am finished my last day of induction on Thursday. Thursday is also a big night, my roomates birthday so we are all going out and well, everyone but me plans on drinking. Would it hurt if I had 1 glass of wine? Or 1 highball with diet coke? I know alcohol is a no no on induction but because it's my last day and I wouldnt have a lot, just 1 or 2?????

Well, sometimes one can lead to two and two can lead to more and more can lead to the munchies and munchies leads to.....OOPS! So, I guess it depends on how strong you are - if you can have one and then stop one glass of wine won't hurt you. I've actually had a couple glass on days where I stayed at 20 carbs and woke up 1-2 lbs lighter! Just don't spiral out of control! Good Luck - you have the power to do what is best for you!

Be warned: alcohol will hit you harder than you can possibly imagine.

When I was doing Atkins, even after Induction, if I knew I would probably have a drink I always had a couple of string cheeses in my purse! I know that sounds nuts but it really saved me on more than one occasion when no food was being served.

Best of luck,
Jinx
