Hiya Jordy,

1 teaspoon of cocoa powder has around 1g carb. I think Splenda is the best way to sweeten it - remember the Splenda tablets are all but carb free.

Cheers.

Smile Chocolate cheesecake!

Hi Jordy

I have this great recipe for chocolate "cheese cake"

Take 2 parts cream cheese - philly for best results
2 parts sour cream
1 part thicken cream - I use Pura Thick cream - no hidden sugars
splenda to sweeten
vanilla essence
1/2 teaspoon cocoa - Baking Cocoa from Nestle tastes and smells great

Mash the cream cheese and put in microwave for about 10 seconds and then stir until soft and creamy, add the rest and mix well. Place in fridge to cool or eat as is.

I normally make this using 2 oz of cream cheese, and the rest falls into place. Is also great if you use lemon essence in addiiton to the vanilla and leave out the cocoa.

Good luck with your dinner party.

Sue

Hi Starlight,

How about posting your recipe in "Sweet Treats" for us all to share?

Or use stevia as sweetener. No carb at all. You still have to watch the quantities of spleda you use.
