I eat NATURAL peanut butter and here is why. Atkins says that hydrogenated and partially hydrogenated (these are in regular peanut butters) will STOP ketosis because the body does not know what to do with these types of fats. It will KNOCK you right the heck out of ketosis so I suggest eating only the NATURAL stuff that has to be refrigerated once opening. I sometims add a packet or two to the jar for flavor and fun. I get my natural PB at my local food store - it is their store brand.

I would be a spoon in the jar type if I let myself but I tell myself 1 TBLSPN and that is ALL, as I want to lose weight on this program.

As a nice treat, put some natural PB on a PURE DELITE DARK CHOCOLATE BAR - the best Reese's you'll ever have!!!

I buy nutbutters (almond, peanut, cashew) in the bulk bins at Wholefoods or our other health food stores. That way I can have some of each without breaking the bank.

I LOVE IT!! But, alas, like most of y'all, I can get outta control if I have too much around (another reason to buy smaller quantities in bulk!).

Anybody who loves peanut butter might want to try soynut butter,. I just bought some unsweetened (haven't tried it yet) to which I will add a little stevia. It has only 1 net carb per serving.
