Default Instead of a 7 Eleven Slurpee....I created my OWN!

So I couldnt get over the carbs in the 7 Eleven Crystal Light slurpee.

I bought some Rum (which has no carbs) and I put some in my blender, with ice, and crystal light, I also put some lime juice in and a few diced up strawberries and it is sooooo delicious! You can skip the strawberries and its Carb Free!

You can also try it with other crystal light flavors of course!

Enjoy!

Lightbulb Crystal Lite Slurpees

Hi I also have tried the Crystal Lite slurpees, I didnt really like them they had a very strong aftertaste and a stong fake sugary flavor. The other day I noticed a orange pineapple one which was slightly better. I also think that the 11 carbs are from sugar alcohols because regular Cystal Lite has no carbs. Athough I personally think a Diet Coke slurpee would be perfect! I would seriously get a slurpee everyday if that flavor was added. With diet coke there are no calories and no carbs-much better that Crystal Lite and of course much better tasting. I have already e-mailed 7-11 and if anyone feels so inclined to do so to it couldnt hurt! Just imagine FROZEN DIET COKE!!!

A couple months ago I e-mailed 7-11 Canada and asked if they would be selling diet slurpees in Canada. The woman that responded said that they might be ready to in the fall. It's almost fall.....

But I wonder if they won't wait until next summer now?

I found this in a thread at a dif diet web discussion board:
""Beware of the crystal light slurpee. I assumed, probably as many did that it was just like crystal light only slushy. Well, apparently they add something to the mix to make it slush up which adds carbohydrates and calories. I emailed 7-11 for the nutritional information and they replied back that a 22 oz cyrstal light slurpee has 88 calories and 21 grams of carbohydrates. "

I knew it was too good to be true! might as well have a coke slurpee lol

What does the number at the end (outside the parentheses) represent?

I'm guessing...mostly Sugar Alcohols. The Diet Pepsi is made with Splenda, Erythritol, and Tagatose. Crystal Light Slurpees are made with Sorbitol, Glycerine, Maltodextrin, and probably some other sweetener...hopefully Splenda like the Diet Pepsi Slurpee. The carbs would be from these 3 ingredients. Sorbitol and Glycerine are Non-Impact Carbs for most LC Diets. Maltodextrin is a Sugar derived from Corn or Rice. It is the filler that gives Granular Splenda [and other Artificial Sweeteners] its carbs.

Question Diet Pepsi Slurpee?

Does anyone have the info on these new diet pepsi slurpees? Are they like the crystal light ones, where there are no calories or sugar but still a lot of carbs? I went to 7-11's site, but I couldn't find nutrition info anywhere.
I would love to have one, but my weight loss is soooooo slow. I don't want to blow it.
