I had never even paid attention to Diet Rite until Memorial Day weekend, when we were traveling. Raspberry is the only one I saw at a Safeway in Spokane, so I grabbed it, remembering other members' comments on the splenda in it.

Yikes, you are right! It is way too expensive. I'll have to keep my eyes open for sales like you find!

The cost is another reason why I just mainly stay away from pop. I find a case can last me an eternity (as long as I hide it from my family).

LOL

I hope you all make it a very great day--it's great to be alive!

Shasta now makes lots of flavors of diet soda sweetened with sucralose -- they even had chocolate soda and french vanilla cola. They were CHEAP - $1.88 for a 12 pack and really delicious! Zero carbs.

Not only is diet rite surgar free and made with splenda but its caffeine free to they also have cola flavor and orange flavor
diet squirt is another one that is surgar free and caffiene free and comes in to flavors citrus and cant think of the other one i think rassberry too or berry flavor though the bad thing inless it dont bother you is the squirt has aspertame in it same as nutrasweet

I just placed an order for 4 cases (2 white grape and 2 tangerine) at hometownfavorites.com. Wish they had more flavors, but they weren't bad price wise. Unfortunately, shipping was an astronomical $21.00!!!!! Oh well...hopefully four cases will last a while and besides, its cheaper than driving to Kentucky every time I need Diet Rite! I don't like the 2 liter bottles and that is all they carry here. They don't even bottle and sell cans within 100 miles of me

Default diet rite

I absolutely love Diet Rite black cherry. It takes me about a week to go through a 2 ltr bottle, when I used to drink a 2 ltr bottle of diet pepsi in 2 days! I miss diet pepsi, but have decided to cut out the nutrasweet in my diet.

as i read through these posts ... i am sorry to hear of the expense you guys on the west and east coasts are finding for diet rite.
in the midwest or at least in minnesota diet rite like shasta is about a dollar cheaper than coke and sprite and all the major brands.

can i pick you up some next time i head to the grocery?

Pick me up some I can't find a single place in town that sells it anymore, and we have a super walmart, albertsons, and a safeway. I'll probably find it in some obscure gas station in one of the outlaying towns for $5 a can
