Default Tomato Sauce/Eggs

I have this tomato sauce these are the ingredients. I am on induction and wondering if it's acceptable.

Other Vegetables
You can have one cup per day of these veggies if salad does not exceed two cups. The following vegetables are slightly higher in carbohydrate content than the salad vegetables:

* artichoke
* celery root
* pumpkin
* artichoke hearts
* rhubarb
* asparagus
* chard
* sauerkraut
* bamboo shoots
* collard greens
* scallions
* dandelion
* snow peas
* bean sprouts
* dandelion greens
* spaghetti squash
* beet greens
* eggplant
* spinach
* broccoli
* hearts of palm
* string or wax beans
* broccoli rabe
* kale
* summer squash
* brussels
* kohlrabi
* tomato
* bean sprouts
* leeks
* turnips
* cabbage
* okra
* water chestnuts
* cauliflower
* onion
* zucchini

If a vegetable, such as spinach or tomato, cooks down significantly, it must be measured raw so as not to underestimate its carb count.

Also, cooking reduces often reduce fiber significantly, so keep that in mind BEFORE you eat it.

It looks okay since there is no sugar added. But tomatoes do have alot of natural sugar, so it may still be fairly high in carbs. Just check the carbs on the label and keep within your limits.

3 carbs for 1/4 cup, but i'm not eating it directly only cooking in it so I might get in the 1/4 cup at the most. Just making sure citric acid isn't a no no.

According to the carb counter on the Atkins web site and the one I got in the book. A whole egg is .6

Maybe it's time for them to revise his little book.
