You aren't supposed to eat the bars and chocolates on induction, other than that it looks great.

Your menu looks simular to mine. The only difference is I do not eat the advantage bars or peanut butter cup. I think the advantage bars are for after induction. I am sure on the the more experianced LCers will let you know. Happy LCing

Default induction menu

my induction went kind of like this. i will try to make it sound as luxurious and delicious as possible.

breakfast-
2 eggs scrambled with spinach and mushrooms with freshly grated grana padano (like asiago, but grainier) sprinkled on top
a pot of jasmine pearls loose leaf green tea

lunch-
salade nicoise - fresh greens with albacore tuna, egg, sliced black olives and capers, tossed with olive oil and a splash of balsamic vinegar.
a little mozzarella di bufala drizzled with olive oil and oregano on the side.

dinner-
sauteed breast of chicken with butter, lemon and garlic
fresh, steamed baby asparagus, drizzled with olive oil and maybe a little balsamic vinegar.

Now that I have moved out of induction, I might add a roasted red pepper to my salad here or there, or with my fresh mozzarella. I'll have an extra salad with dinner, fresh berries after dinner some nights. I like having broccolini sauted with olive oil and garlic, or regular broccoli with a hollandaise sauce.

Default Re: Induction menu

Karen,

That looks alot like my day...

B: 2 eggs..usually hard boiled, sometimes fried
a couple of sausage links

Snack: 1 string cheese (stick)

L: 1 can tuna w/ mayo and onion
1.5 cup lettuce/spinach mix

D: Steak w/ sour cream on top or chicken/pork
lettuce/spinach salad w/ olive oil & vinegar

My fave is to scramble eggs w/ zucchini, mushrooms,
leftover steak and eat about a third for breakfast and save the rest for lunch.

My %'s are: fat-70, carb- 3 and protein- 25 or so
Fitday is great for tracking everything, too.

Anita
