Welcome driso, since you are just starting, try to take some key measurements. This is the one thing I really regret not doing. Because it can come in handy during those times ahead when the movement on the scale is more like an unwelcome "hover" than the much-preferred "downward movement." Good luck on your LC journey!!!

Congrats Driso on making the decision!

Please read the book! Drink you water! Eat your Fats (most of your calories should come from fat)! Do a clean Induction...no bars or shakes; eat meat, poultry, fish, veggies (check out the acceptable list), watch the cheese (look at your limit).

Make sure you read the ingredients of any item your purchase or anything you eat when you are out. No corn syrup, maltodextrin, modified anything, dextrose, wheat, hydrogenated anything.

Use this forum as a souce of information, motivation and support. Go to fitday.com and enter your food in there so you can count your carbs and everything else you consume.

Good luck on your low carb journey.

Peace

If you love pizza you have got to try this recipe

Deep dish pizza quiche

My room mate said it was better than real deep dish pizza when I made it. I only let her have a bit 'cause I wanted to keep it all to myself and she got mad and tried to steal it and we faught over it! You could feed it to someone and they wouldn't know the dif.
