Thumbs up Sunkist Almond Accents- Many flavors!

I just found these at the grocery store (Publix) over the weekend near the fresh produce.

They are flavored Sliced Almonds. I bought 2 packages (because they were 2 for $5.00 and I am a sucker for those 2fer deals.) I bought the Italian and the Bacon Cheddar. They are really good. Looks like they were intended to be put into vegi and other side dishes or salads. But they are good right out of the bag. Reminds me of having potato chips or some other snack chip. I have tried the Bacon Cheddar but I have not opened up the Italian as of yet.

OK.. I know you want the nutritional stats so here it is in a nut shell. (ha! I crack me up!)

Bacon Cheddar Flavor

Serving Size 1 Tablespoon
Serving per container 24
Calories 40
Calories from fat 30
Total fat 3.5 g
Sodium 55 mg
Total Carbohydrates 1g
Dietary Fiber less than 1g
Sugars 0g
Protien 1g

The entire list of flavors are: Bacon Cheddar, Italian Parmesan, Ranch Style, Roasted Garlic Caesar, Honey Roasted (I did not buy or checked out the sugars and carbs on this one) and original Oven Roasted.

Watch out, these can be addicting. But they can be a great addition to a salad or a small snack. Let me know if you try them and what you thought of them!

Thumbs up Almond Accents...Yum

You are right. I put Ceasar, Bacon Chedder, and Ranch on my salads all the time. It is a good substitute for croutons, which I miss and love! Some of them are pretty strong flavored right out of the bag but they are yummy!! I think I am gonna try putting some Bacon Chedder ones on the Cauliflower Casserole recipe I found in the recipe forum - doesn't that sound good? Or on chicken. They have a lot of possibilities!

I just found these at the store yesterday. There are absolutely wonderful. Wanted to bump this thread so other folks would learn about them. They are my new snack food, although still in moderation! (I suggest measuring out 1 tablespoon so you really know how few are in there, lol!)
