Default Coconut oil for weight loss??

Hi everyone. I read an article in Womens World this weekend about coconut oil and the effect it has on the body to help shed excess weight. It is a fat, no carbs.............has anyone else read this, tried it, etc????? Very curious!!
I bought some and will give it a try for a week~

I'm drawing from way back in the memory banks, but I think I remember coconut oil as being one of the worst oils you can eat ---- full of the bad kind of saturated fats. I think that's what they use in that oh so tasty movie theater popcorn.

You might want to check into some more. It is also quite possible that I have a glitch in the memory.

Organic, unrefined, coconut oil is a wonderful food. I've posted quite a bit on this already, so I won't repeat myself here. Do a search on "coconut AND oil" to see the other posts.

its when you see coconut oil or any other oils hydronated then you know its bad. Atkins uses coconut oil in his advantage bars.

I think you meant to say hydrogenated.
