Thumbs up -31.9 lbs in 60 days!!! With your help

Dear forum buddies,

Apologies for not being very active lately - a combination of things... But i have been logging on daily and "took advantage" of your wealth of information and positive thinking.

Sooooo.... i am proud to say that i have just got rid of 31.9 lbs in two months!!! I am so happy!!! 5 more lbs and i will reach my 5 years ago weight!!! And i feel so much better too.

I had to try different things, it was a trial and error process but i think i more tuned to my body needs now than 2 months ago. So i know for example that aspartame is not good for me, or that i need to have two cups of veggies daily, or that water is my best friend.

I still have a long way to go but it's so nice to look back and be able to say that for the first time it wasn't a period of deprivation or trouble. This in itself is a big surprise to me.

Thank you thank you thank you for your ideas and support throughout this time. I couldn't have asked for a better support group. Good luck with your efforts.

See you around!!!

Wow! That's an average loss of more than 13 lbs a week! Congratulations!

I have been on the plan for 5 weeks and have only lost what you managed to lose in an average week. Is there a secret to your success or are you just blessed with an incredible metabolism?

Again, congratulations to you! Excellent success!

Actually, it's an average of 4 lbs per week, NOT 13.
32 lbs divided by 8 weeks is 4 lbs. An excellent weekly weight loss.

Congratulations! Fabulous weight loss!

All of those things you've learned about your body should serve as reminders for all of us- limit the aspertame, eat your veggies and drink your water.

Thanks for sharing!

Default Thank you thank you

Thank you for your heart-warming words. I must admit i still cannot believe it. For some strange reason it feels right, it feels like the right path for me and i have never felt strong about a diet/food plan before.

I have been overweight almost all my life, a serious case of emotional eater, have tried every diet possible - i think - and i just keep failing. I was failing myself because i didn't listen to it. Family and doctors have made believe it was just me and my weak character that kept me from being thin. Noone ever take the trouble to give a full hormones test for example, no doctor had ever talked me about glucose intolerance - it appears that i have a huge problem... I just kept trying all the wrong things and just failing myself and saying that i am just too weak to diet....

And now it seems like i finally found what works best for me and in time i know i'll be able to make the modifications necessary in order to adapt to my bodies new needs. And it feels great to be back in control!

Sorry for the long post but you all are my friends in this effort and i wanted to share this with you.

Take care and good luck with your efforts.
