Default Carbsense tortillas and Chicken Salad!!

I love the Carbsense tortillas (pico de gallo) and had a bag....I also felt like some chicken salad so I made some. I got a wild hair and decided to spread some on one of the tortillas....OMG it is sooooo good!! The combination of the two flavors is really awesome and makes a great snack too, esp for camping and picnics.

Could you please post your recipe for chicken salad? I always find ways to spruce up the 'basic' recipes, but don't have the basic recipe!! Thanks!

I love those chips too.

Are they slowing down your weight loss, as Im afraid to re order them as I would eat some every night,
although im dying for nachos, since I have mastered a low carb chilli recipe.

I am a slow loser anyway.....so I cant really tell the difference. It hasnt stalled me at all. I would say if you do eat them, just stick with one serving a day and see how that goes.

Thanks Vicky - it sounds awesome!!! I wonder if you could substitute canned flaked chicken for the breasts? I went to a restuarant before starting LC, and had the best chicken salad sandwich - they put in mandrin orange slices and slivered almonds, which made it a little bit crunchy - really good! You of course wouldn't be able to put in the oranges, but I might try adding a few almonds into your recipe. Cheers!

Yeah, do whatever to make it even better!! I actually had some chicken salad from a Mennonites Deli and THAT was the best chicken salad I've ever had. It has cranberries in it, and cranberries have 4 carbs per 1/2 cup.....and it also has almond slivers too. I might be heading that way to see if they'll tell me what they put in it!!
