How many carbs for this syrup????

Help! I found some s/f syrup yesterday for my mock french toast..and I am confused how to count it.

label says:
calories 30
fat 0
sodium 115
total carb 12
sugar alcohol 11
sugar 0
protein 0

Can I subtract the sugar alcohol and count it as 1 carb????
Thanks!!!Please hurry...I'm looking forward to my breakfast!!
