Help ME! Don't know which is worse, smoking or eating! I hope you can help[list]

Hi, don't recall format for this forum, hope I'm o.k.
Well, I quit smoking totally 4 weeks ago. No help at all, except for Skittles and sweets. Gained 10 lbs. Feels like I gained 30 or so. Started gym, Atkins, and enlisting support from all.
Day 1. Anyone out there in my shoes. Thanks for your help, would like to meet group.
