Soy Frustration!

I have very bad

reactions to soy and have been diagnosed by an allergist not to take any soy/peanuts.

Does anyone else have this and how do you cope on these hi protein diets when there are so many soy products. I am making everything from scratch--but that is a lot of work. Any one have suggestions?
