Angry Lipton Green Tea ... WTH???

One of my new found pleasures since starting LC is yummy teas -- raspberry, peppermint, pomegranate, etc. As time goes on, I even find I'm able to use less sweetener in it than I used to.

I picked up a package of Lipton Green Tea a while back. The Raspberry Passion Fruit kind ("Naturally Flavoured Tea made with real raspberries" ) It is, indeed very tasty. I was about to use the last bag this morning, and throw out the box, when I happened to notice the very large ingredient panel. (Talk about shutting the stable door ...)

Fifteen ingredients:
#3 Corn maltodextrin
#7 Sugar
#13 modified corn starch
I know the amounts are very small, but still ... I threw the last bag out with the box.

Thanks a lot, Unilever. NOT.
