Default when is blood sugar low?

I am a type II diabetic and have done great lowering my blood sugars eating low carb. I am very proud of bringing down my AC1 from 11.4 to 5.8.

My daily blood sugars are now averaging 109. Last night I had a blood sugar of 84. I take Glucophage and am working on getting off it. I saw my doctor last month and forgot to ask her what would be a low blood sugar. I feel fine but my mom is stressing out. She thinks 100 is too low and I told her low was probably 70ish. Does anyone know what is lowish so I can tell her, and when I should be calling my doctor?

I am just trying to plan ahead... I am sure it will take a bit to get my sugars down to 70.... heh..
