Default Ice cream without sugar alcohol?

Lucerne has made a new chocolate coated vanilla ice cream which is almost sugar alcohol free. It contains Erythritol and Polydextrose, both have minimum effect on blood sugar according to this site:

http://www.mendosa.com/netcarbs.htm

The ice cream tastes fine, except that it slightly lacks rigidity. The chocolate coating cracks and falls. This simple problem is probably why other brands use maltitol and other bad sugar alcohols when they make their products. They claim that they use sugar alcohol for the only purpose of improving texture!

I bought it at Safeway supermarket.
