Angry spider-bite medication

During second week of induction I was on antihistamines because of an allergic reaction to a spider-bite. First week's weight loss 2lb, second week 1lb (second time around for me on Atkins and I've always been a slow loser). Does anyone know if this medication makes it more difficult to lose? Also, does weight gained on certain medication come off automatically after end of treatment, or does it have to be 'worked at'? Many thanks in advance for info.
