Default Goat cheese

I know regular cheese slows me down and I have to watch my cheese intake very carefully. Cheese is my passion. I found some goat cheese at a local farmers' market. It's delicious. I love it

Will it slow me down me down like regular cheese? I know they recommend goat milk for lactose intollerant people.

I checked the USDA database for goat cheese, they have "Cheese, goat, hard type" and "Cheese, goat, semisoft type". This cheese is between a Gouda and a cheddar. Which of those two should I use to count my carbs?
How hard can goat cheese get?

There is also a soft cheese, something like a brie I can get, what do you recommend? Which is better?
Thanks in advance.
