Dry Spice Rubbed Pork Roast
2 tablespoons of paprika (regular, hot or sweet)
2 tablespoons salt
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons onion powder
2 teaspoons dry mustard
1 pork roast - (shoulder, butt, bone-in, or boneless) 4-8 lbs
Combine all spices. Rub roast liberally with spices. Roast in covered pan with 1 cup of water for 3-5 hours (lower time for boneless roast) or in crockpot 6-8 hours. Serve as is or with LC barbecue sauce and coleslaw.
