Question flab help please!!

I also posted this question in the general exercise forum, but the last post there was in July!!! Can anyone tell me a really good, low impact exercise to get rid of thigh and butt flab?? I had a surgery that left me unable to jog, although I walk 3-5 miles 5-7 days a week, do 150-200 crunches every night, and 50 leg lifts on each side..yet the flab remains!! I also need some lower ab work too, not nearly as much as before, but some..Please help with any ideas????
