Default Ice Cream, Sugar Alcohols, Water Retention and (dare I say it?!) Poop

This weekend when I was at the store I noticed that Dryers had come out with a low carb ice cream. I have issuses with sugar alcohols and can't stomach a lot of things, but I like to test out new foods because some things I can tolerate (ie I can eat the Breyers ice cream, but not the Ben and Jerry's). Since the Dryers seemed to have the same ingredients as Breyers I figured I'd be safe. Of course now my stomach has been acting up for the past day or two (I've been pooping like crazy!) and I've noticed that I'm retaining water as well. Do you think that the water retention could have been caused by the ice cream? I've never had *that* side effect from sugar alcohols before, but I figure anything is possible...

Here I go to try to drink tons of water to get rid of this extra fluid in my body.
