The more refined any product is the worse it is for your body.
Foods that are natural are harder to digest have a higher caloric cost. In other works if takes calories for the body to process it then there are less "net" calories to that food. Celery basically has negative calories because it takes more energy to eat it than it has.
Good low carb hi fiber foods with great caloric costs are
Asparagus Brocolli, Cabbage Califlower Celery Lettuce Mushrooms Radiccio Radish and Spinach. Eating these foods will help speed up your metabolism.
I just like to eat as close to nature as possible. (Less refining) Let your body do the digestive work and burn the calories.
OK VCO probably doesn't matter as much as far as caloric cost, but it is just my philosophy.
