Question

started this diet,atkins,18 days ago and have lost 19.5 lbs.
my wife saw how well i was doing and decided to diet along with
me. she has been on the diet for 11 days, lost 4 lbs in 8 days then
gained 3 lbs next 3 days. carb count at 14-18,drinks 1/2 gallon of
water a day, calorie intake 1200-1500,dieters advantage suppliments. she is getting discouraged since it has been 11 days
with total weight loss 0. i encourage her to stick with it since women lose slower then men,and we're both eating the same foods in different amounts.my calorie intake average is 2000.
should she increase her calories? any suggestions would be appreciated. i want her to live a long happy, healthy life.
