Default 283 -> 140 Can it be done?

Hi Everyone,

I have 143lbs to loose (lost a few in the past few weeks at last weigh-in I was 272). I have heard of many success stories of people who have lost weight low-carbing. I am hoping I can be one of them.

I have been low-carbing for 4 weeks, and initially I was loosing. But the past 10 days I started to gain. I had been sticking to the eating plan, and it was abit disheartening because I didn't know what I was doing wrong.

I fell off the wagon 2 days ago, but I don't want to get back into old habits and have joined this forum to keep me motivated. I am also hoping that I can find advise that will help me understand why I might gain wieght even though I am sticking to the eating plan.

Thanks to anyone who takes the time to read this. I really want to do this! I don't want to be another fad diet that i give-up on.
