Default What do you do about the big party/event?

In a couple of weeks I am hosting a nice dinner at a restaurant to celebrate my husband's birthday. Menu selections are chicken fried steak, chicken fried chicken and luncheon halibut (probably breaded and deep fried.) I have been trying really hard to stick with the induction diet, but except for the salad there's nothing at this meal that I will be able to "legally" eat. My question is this: What happens if I splurge that day? Will it set back my weight loss for the day--week--month??? Can I "save up" some of my carbs during that week and the next to help even it out?

Another solution would be to be THE ONLY ONE IN THE CROWD WHO ORDERS A CHEF SALAD. I really hate to do this and draw attention to myself. Also, the above food items are the only selections given.

Any suggestions?
