Default Unbelievable Bread

My husband got some bread from

http://www.germanbreadhaus.com/0.htm

and I was simply amazed at the taste.. have any of you ever been to Europe and lamented the fact that there just is no such thing as bread like that over here?

Anyway, I was reading the nutrition labels of many of the breads and they are pretty good....AND I just emailed them asking if they would slice the bread very thinly, cutting the carb count in half.

Some of the labels include things like 9g protein and 11g carbs and 6 grams of fiber!! for a single slice. Cut that in half, add the European taste (none of this atkins styrofoam) and you have something pretty damned good on your hands.

...imagining brie and butter topped european grainy bead...
