Hello everyone!
Been lurking for a while and decided to register tonight and so my first post.

I'm a 62 yr old over weight 5'8" male with a heart problem, so far 2 by-pass surgeries with a total of 9 grafts, 4 the first time and 5 the last time. I've been on lots of diet's, all of which led to failure and increasing weight.
My first try at LC abt. 2 years ago lasted 4 wks until I saw my Heart Specialist he scared me so bad that I quit immediatly. My weight continued to increase to a point where I said whoa that's enough.
Here are the results of being on my own LC change of eating after aprox. 9 weeks.
I lost in excess of 10 inches and 24 lbs.
I couldn't walk very far, now do abt three miles a day.
My heart rate was 100 while relaxed before LC, now it's at 74 when relaxed.
My teeth now feel like they should, not like they were planted in rubber as before.
I can now put on my pants without first sitting on my bed, Yahooooo!
There are lots more good things that are happening but I'm sure that you all know already what LC can do for the body!
My start weight was 232 lbs now 208 lbs, my goal is to reach my ideal weight of 185 lbs and hope to reach that by May 27 2004.

Merry Christmas to all.
