When I had to stop drinking wine, I found Canada Dry Sparkling water. Poured into a small glass I could pretend quite easily it was a "real drink" sitting next to me. Now I drink it all the time because after decades I still can't take the tapwater here; it's supposed to be well within the safe parameters but the taste is less palatable than I've found anywhere in the world. Canada Dry is also the cheapest of the sparkling waters that I've found.
