Off wall question
My daughter has been loving the hoamde yogurt I've been doing. They say though that you shouldn't give dairy to little ones (she's 10 months old). I also read where keifer is better for young children and pregnant women because of the left turning bacteria.
So here was my idea. Why don't I try making keifer for her using baby formula as a base. They can make yogurt from soy milk which has even less lactose then formula, so there is something there for the starter to react to. The keifer would also have all the fat, iron and healthy stuff in the formula.
Is there any reason I shouldn't give it a go? Does anyone think it could be a bad idea, or know something about keifer or formula that could make it bad for her?
