Default manic depression and low-carb

I have bi-polar disorder, formerly known as manic-depression. I have been stabilized through medication since December of 1998. I take psychiatric drugs that not only inhibit my metabolism, but also increase appetite. I find a low-carb diet to be of great value because the food I am eating does not put on any weight and even with my impaired metabolic system, I am losing weight. I am in a state of ketosis and doing remarkably well.
