Hurray! I finally hit normal on the BMI calculator!
I know its pretty meaningless - but its a milestone for me. I have not been in that range for about 10 years.
I only wish I had tried Atkins before - I wasted 10 years being overweight!
Anyway - I feel pretty good these days as I have upped my carbs - probably at about 35-40 each day and I am still losing - I am going into pre maintennace slowly as I really do want to lose the last 10lbs .
I am going to introduce some fruit this week and see how I do. I can finally get low carb bread in my supermarket - last night I had an 8 carb chicken salad sandwich for dinner - my first one since May - it tased sooooo good - and good for me too!
I have gone from size 10 going into 12 to a size 6/8.
I am waiting eagerly for my annual check up results from my PCP - which I should get this week.
Anyway enough of me ; just wanted to share my success for those of you just starting out.
