high blood pressure...

Just curious if any one else has been diagnosed with high blood pressure. I have been on Diovan (1 a day) for about 1 and 1/2 years now ( that is when I take them

) and I was reading that Dr Atkins felt like no one on this diet should need to be on BP meds. My BP was fine when I started the diet ( of course I was taking my meds) but now I am curious to see if I can get off the meds all together. Any one else know anything about high blood pressure??
