Help with Thicken Thin/Not Starch
I plan to make a recipe tonight that calls for 1/4 c flour mixed with 1/4 c melted butter, then adding 2 cups of broth and cooking until thickened. I've never used a thickening substitute before and am wondering how much I'll need. I'll be using thicken thin/not starch. Does anyone have any suggestions? Since I haven't made the recipe in ages, I'm not sure I'd recognize the normal consistency when I see it! Thanks in advance!
