Default Multivitamins

ok another set of questions

1st i don't know if i did this right i bought some multivitamins from some shop near me superdrug i think it was and they were dead cheap only 79p i also bought cod liver oil tablets ~ same price.
The multivitamins i looked at had no iron in them or so i thought they said they had

Vit A
Vit D
Vit E
Vit C
Thiamin (Vitamin B1)
Rioboflavin (Vitamin B2)
Niacin
Vitamin B6
Folic Acid
Vitamin B12
Pantothenic Acid
All of these were 100 % RDA so i thought sound no iron as every multivit i have picked up has 14mg of iron so i bought the multivits and cod liver oil and when i get home i look at the pack again and on the ingredients it says a multitude of ingredients and when it gets to colours it say (Titanium Oxides,Iron Oxides) "IRON" s*** i thought why did i not see that before so does this mean that coz it has iron in the colouring they are no good or would that be nominal as it doesnt actually have the Iron in the RDA like it does with all the other Vits.

Hope that makes sense as i am not to good at explaining things in writing.

Another thing why were they so Cheap does that mean they are rubbish anyway i went to holland and barrett and the only multivits they had without Iron was for over 50's now i know i'm kicking on but i aint near the big 50 yet and they were a tenner which is a bit pricey for me as if i have to take supplements there is no way i can afford to stick to this plan if these are the prices i am looking at i know you only get what u pay for but sadly i would not be able to afford all these supplements i hear people say they take.
I took no supplements whatsoever for 3 weeks so i decided to try and take some as i don't think in the long term it would be too smart to do without them if you lack certain minerals/vitamins on Atkins.
What do you think !!!!!
