Question Why Atkins and not Somersizing?

Don't get me wrong, I really am happy with Atkins, but I have a friend who is doing Atkins now and plans to do the whole Somersizing bit once she gets close to her goal weight. Any thoughts on this? I don't know too much about Somersizing, although I do know it's similar in ways (something about not combining carbs w/ fats, but you can have fruit and whole grains I believe).

Has anyone tried it? Did it work, did it not? Just hoping to get some info. Thanks lots!
