Spinach is like a cork...

Help...This is TMI but I am in quite a bit of discomfort. I LOVE spinach and eat it at least 1 time per week. But, between that and my multi-vitamin, I think I am getting too much iron and I am backing up

I thought the fiber in spinach would balance out the problem I have with iron, but here lately, it seems when I eat spinach I can't go for 2 or 3 days?
Any suggestions? Flax seed maybe?
