Yogurt
I way happy to read that if you buy the plain no frills yogurt with active cultures it can be a relativly low carb breakfast alternative because the active cultures have some effect on the overall carb count.
Heres my question?
I took some yogurt, a packet of spenda and two strawberries and blended it up. I proceded to then place the mixed yogurt in the freezer and every 15 minutes or so I would go and stir it up. After 1.5 hours it had the consistency of soft serve ice cream, or in this case frozen yogurt. I was in heaven because I came up with a low carb ice cream styled treat.
Finally, here is my question?
Someone told me that they thought they heard/read that cold temperatures kill the active cultures in yogurt. Is this true? If so my low carb treat wasn't as low carb as I originally thought it was.
Thanks in Advance
Kurt
