Default is the rate of re-gain the same or worse than low fat???

There was an article in our local paper (I did not read it someone was telling me about it) but one of the 'bad' points was that generally people don't stick to the low carb and like any diet. . .gain it all back. . .anyone have stats for 're-gain' with this WOL. Now the person who read this book is another fellow TDC person (although she is not on here). ..but she has read the first chapters in Atkins for Life and her comment was. . ."Everything I read, I found myself saying, That's me!" I explained to her that just like alcohol. .. I will know for the rest of my life that carbs are a danger for me. . .especially processed carbs. .so I plan on never making them a part of my daily life again. . .never been a big cookie person anyway. ..I look birthday cake as the governments way of making sure we comsume mass quanities of white flour and sugar. .. so I am going with the conspiracy theory to keep me on track. . .they want me to eat this stuff. . .so I won't! hehehe redawn
