Hiya,

I have been lo carbing for over 3 years. In the beginning, I used to suffer from a dry mouth every night. Now, however, I only get it when I have been 'bad' in the evening, eg. had a glass of red wine or some 70% chocolate or a bit of ice cream.

I normally have between 20-40 grams of 'good carbs' per day and have no trouble at night.

I have read many of the threads on dry mouth and seen alot of people complaining about it, but so far no good reason on why it happens.

I suppose I am still worried that it could be a diabetic reaction, though my tests are normal.

BTW, I am not prepared to forgo my weekly treats (I'm SO GOOD most of the time) and realise this may be something I've got to live with.....
