Feeding Days: Do they really work?

I was wondering if all of you out there have any info on these feeding days to stop stalls? I wanted to hear from people that have had success as well as those who haven't. I have been stalled for 6 weeks now and I was wondering if this might help me? how many carbs am I suppose to eat on a feeding day?
